Our students have been immersed in the world of percussion following the Kaboom Percussion Showcase and workshops. Through bucket drumming, they have been composing, improvising and exploring the elements of music, fostering their rhythmic skills, coordination and musical understanding. They have been performing percussion accompaniment to various songs and have also explored rhythmic canon - playing two separate rhythmic parts concurrently to create interesting musical patterns. They have also been actively involved in timing games, technique exercises and rudiments. It is fantastic to witness their progress and their ability to perform and create musical ideas through percussion.
