The Year 3 students in Rooms 4 and 5 had a fabulous time exploring the past at the Wanneroo Regional Museum last Tuesday 23 May. The students discovered the importance of Lake Joondalup to the Noongar people and the migrants that came later. The students learnt a Noongar “Welcome” song and how to draw traditional symbols, they also looked at how things have changed over time such as telephones (some teachers and parents all too familiar with the ‘old’ ways). Everyone had an amazing day!
