COVID-19 news

We have received RATs for distribution to families. There are enough RATs for families to have 20 for each child enrolled at the school. RATs can be collected from the school office between 8.15am - 9.00am and 2.45pm - 3.30pm. Unfortunately, we are not able to send these tests home with children.

P&C Association

I would like to thank the P&C Association for their generous donations to the school in the past few months. Because of your support of the P&C, they have been able to purchase the interschool athletics shirts, donate over $3700 for playground equipment to be in used in new Kindy playground, plus an additional $5000 for the playground equipment and subsidised the Year 6 camp for Joondalup Schools. We are very grateful for this donation. It makes a difference for the students and staff.

If you took part in the P&C Chocolate Fundraiser, you have played your part in replenishing the budget for the next purchases. If you missed out on buying chocolates, there will be more opportunities coming soon.

Staff news

As of today Mrs Sonya Strating will be taking leave until the end of the term as she is having surgery. We wish Mrs Strating a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing her back at school soon. Mrs Strating will be at school for the parent-teacher interviews.

Next week Mr Kyle Easther will be taking leave as he has been appointed Assistant Coach for the School Sport WA Basketball under 12's team for 2022. Representing WA at a National competition is an outstanding achievement and recognises his significant contribution Basketball. Mr Easther is highly skilled, a competitive player, an experienced umpire and an excellent teacher giving him the ideal skillset for this role. We wish Mr Easther and his team a successful competition.

On Friday 19 August selected students will be taking their science investigation to Belridge Secondary College to share what they have been working on with other schools in the Joondalup Learning Community. The Year 4 students have been working on a greenhouse investigation, Year 5, sunglasses of the future and Year 6, a marble maze.
