Halloween History

Pre-Primary

Jack-O-Lanterns were created by students in Pre-Primary. Orange and red acrylic were used to paint the pumpkin and the mouth, eyes and stalk were pasted on to create these cute collages.

Year 5

The students in Year 5 viewed the work of Pablo Picasso. Working in the style of cubism, students created either a witch, Frankenstein or portrait of a person. Drawing from different viewpoints and using vibrant colours they created very effective abstracts. The work was done in felt pen and oil pastel.  

Year 3

Fantastic night skies with flying bats were created by the students in Year 3. They worked with the element of value to paint the sky in acrylic and then added silhouettes of bats in black card.
