On Thursday 20 August, 63 Choir students went to the RAC Arena to participate in the One Big Voice Festival. The students had been working hard to prepare for the festival since March, and the time had finally arrived. Leaving Joondalup Schools at 3:30pm, we took a bus ride into the city and arrived at the RAC Arena. After an hour long rehearsal it was show time. The Arena floor was filled with over 3000 students from schools all across Perth. Our Choir sang amazingly and did Joondalup Schools proud. It was a long evening but the students continued to give their all and performed at their best.  I want to say thank you to all the Choir families for supporting the Choir in the lead up to the performance. I would also like to say a huge thank you to our helper teachers- Miss Mercer, Miss Sivic, Mr Lee, Mrs Young and Mr Cutler- for giving up their time to help out at the event. And of course, well done to our fantastic Choir for giving such an outstanding performance.
