The students in Year 6 participate in Cooperative Reading, which brings together strategies that enable students to set and reach their personal goals as well as promoting a cooperative learning community. Reading practices are explicitly taught and students have many opportunities to use their reading strategies. Students then present the texts they have read to the rest of the class through creative and interesting ways.
