On Friday 22^nd March the staff and students said goodbye to Mr Hahn. Mr Hahn was the Principal of JPS for 10 years and has worked for the Department of Education since 1980. He will be sorely missed and on behalf of the students, staff and wider community we wish him well on his next chapter of retirement.

“Over the years I have had the pleasure to work with so many dedicated and passionate teachers, education assistants, office staff, ancillary staff and also parents, community members and more importantly the students. Together we have celebrated many great moments, triumphs, challenges and highs and I will take many wonderful and fond memories with me. My aspirations and dreams for all students are to apply all the skills, qualities and knowledge they have learnt at school to everyday life. Such as how to problem solve, interact with kindness and wisdom, to be flexible and negotiate, to be respectful, responsible and safe, to always have a go at everything and never give up. I will hold the students, staff, parents and community of Joondalup Primary School very dear and close to my heart – Russell Hahn.
