Year 2 Mathematicians

During Maths Rotation time Room 19 do activities where they are given the opportunity to put into practice skills taught during lessons. The children rotate after 15 to 20 minutes having the chance to try a number of tasks. Some areas being covered this semester were division, time, money, probability and number facts such as odd and even. In these activities Caden and Harry were to read a division number story, do the sharing task using manipulatives and write the number sentence. Mason and Sonny were to spin a digital time and locate it on their analogue clock board. The money activity involved money boxes containing differing money values where Shantalle and Apsara were to use coins to show that value. Kylie and Tegan were playing a game of probability. Jaiyden, Georgia, Isaac and Max were identifying odd and even numbers.
