Pop Art in Years 3 & 4

Students in years 3 & 4 learnt about pop art. They viewed the artwork of Keith Haring and then created work in the same style. The people are singing, playing or moving to music.  Bright coloured acrylic paint was used and then pant markers to create the strong black lines.

Pop Art in Years 4 & 5

Roy Lichtenstein was an American pop artist known for his paintings and prints which referenced commercial art and popular culture icons like Mickey Mouse. Students in years 4 & 5 had fun creating an onomatopoeia using paint, felt pens, and bright coloured card.

Pop Art in Years 2 & 3

Students in years 2 & 3 created these great acrylic paintings after viewing the artwork of pop artist Romero Britto.

3D Artwork 

Following on from the 2D artwork of monsters and sharks the students in Pre-Primary and Year 1, worked with form and create them in 3D.
