Destination Moon: More Mission, More Science

To celebrate National Science Week, the Specialist Area Learning Teachers suited up in their space attire and delivered lessons that were built upon the theme 'Destination Moon: More Missions, More Science’.

The entire school launched into the week with the discovery of a meteorite that had landed in the sensory play area. The students hypothesized about the scientific phenomenon that had landed in the school grounds and the excitement extended into creative literacy lessons within classrooms. The school siren took students on a space journey and Welcome to the Day contained space facts. The canteen delighted students with space treats and the 'Destination Moon’ missions launched in Art, Music, PE, LOTE and Science Lab lessons for the whole week.
