Pop Art Hearts

The Pre-primary students learnt about Pop Art. They viewed the artwork of Romero Britto and then created these great pieces of art. 

The artwork began by revising the primary colours and using short brush strokes they painted the page. The students then created their own heart stencil. After stencilling on the heart, lots of bright colours were added including glitter paint. 

Winter Splash

Puddles were created by blowing and mixing cool coloured dyes on the page. Rubber boots were designed, legs added and then coloured in felt pen, wax crayon or pencil. This artwork created by students in Rooms 4, 6 and 8 is fun and looks fantastic.

Weaving the Colour Spectrum
This was a challenging task. The students in Rooms 12 & 13 revised the colour spectrum and then wove strips of colour through a black spiral they had cut.
