Abstract Landscape
The students in Years 3 & 4 explored the element of line. They then used line to describe different things in a landscape. The areas created by the lines were then painted using ink.

Dinosaur Fossils
The artwork was inspired by the recent discovery of fossils in an underground opal mine in outback NSW. The discovery included the remains from 100-million-year-old herd of dinosaurs and a new species.
The year one students were directed to draw the dinosaur skeleton. They used oil pastel and put a dye wash over the top.

Blue Wrens
The Pre-Primary students worked with clay to create blue wrens. They used a variety of objects and pressed texture onto the birds. After the bisque firing the students glazed the bodies in royal blue and added a black underglaze and a clear glaze to the beak and eye. The wrens were fired again and then the students added the wire and sticks to complete their work.
